No, this is not required. You can save your electronic ticket on your smartphone and present it during boarding. In all other cases, we recommend printing it.
May I submit an electronic ticket as part of a business trip report for accounting purposes?
Yes, as a rule there are no issues with using electronic tickets for reporting purposes. However, if your accountant requires a hard copy of the electronic ticket you can exchange it for a paper version in the ticket office prior to your departure.
