KIY AVIA is the company with famous history, the origins of its foundation lies in the thirties of last century.
Until 1991 our company was a division of “Aeroflot”, at first as Central Agency of Air Services, and later, starting from December 1986, as Kyiv Zone Agency of Air Services. In 1992 Kyiv Zone Agency of Air Services becomes the first independent enterprise of those that earlier belonged to Ukrainian administration of civil aviation. In 1994 “Kyiv Zone Agency of Air Services “KIY AVIA” rental enterprise was established, and later, in 1995, it was transformed into Joint Stock Company “KIY AVIA”.
KIY AVIA was accredited in IATA in 1996. In 1995 it received accreditation in Transport Clearing House of Russia; in 2001 it passed certification in State Department of Aviation Transport of Ukraine.
KIY AVIA repeatedly was rewarded with special diplomas of various airlines:
- "The Best Agent of Smiles Programme" of "Austrian Airlines";
- "The biggest volumes of sold air transportation of the airline" of "Aerosvit";
- The honorary member of the "The BestSeller Club" of "British Airways";
- "For creating the biggest sales network in Ukraine" of "Aerosvit";
- "The Best Sales Agent in Ukraine" of "Turkish Airlines";
- "The Best Sales Agent" of "Ukraine International Airlines";
- "The Best Sales Agent in Ukraine" of "Malev";
- "The Best Sales Agent in Ukraine" of "Transaero";
- "The Best Sales Agent" of Donbassaero.
In 2001 KIY AVIA was awarded with Honorary Diploma of the winner of National competition "Golden Trade Brands" (Zoloti Torgovi Marky) in nomination "The Leader in the sphere of air transportations sales", in 2002 – with Diploma of International open rating of popularity and quality "Zolota Fortuna" (Golden Fortune).
At present, in addition to air ticket sales, we provide the following services:
- travel services in Ukraine and abroad;
- booking of hotels and car rentals;
- sales of railway tickets for travel within Europe, Ukraine and CIS countries;
- organization of VIP services at the airports of Ukraine;
- insurance services;
- arrangement of cargo transportation;
- sales of bus tickets;
- ground handling and commercial service of aircraft in airports.
KIY AVIA trade mark is well known in Ukraine. We have representative offices in Russia and Byelorussia. Taking into account partnership sales locations the network of KIY AVIA consists of 110 centres of aviation and travel services.
